5 Day RYA Practical Training for 2022
Competent Crew and Day Skipper
Available Training Courses.
We have now started the students arriving on the Sunday evening before the course on the Monday but limiting the number of students to a maximum of 4 plus the instructor. Courses are now run on a live aboard basis and we expect that all students have been double vaccinated in consideration of others on board.
25% deposit prior to 60 day of course
Full payment due 60 days prior of course
Funds must be recived by 7 days after order placement.

Subject to numbers . Safety of crew and instructor is our first priority and proof of covid vacinations is required for the start and a covid test.
Competent Crew
Competent Crew. Experience being on board for 5 days sailing and really get to know the boat. Virtually all the course are hands on.
By the end of the course you should be able to steer, handle sails, keep a lookout, row a dinghy and assist in all the day to day duties on board. You should also have visited some interesting places and had an enjoyable holiday as a competent crew.

Day Skipper
DAY SKIPPER. Learn to skipper a short passage with the instructor on hand to give advice and encouragement and ensure your safety. Experience being in charge, taking credit when it all goes well and being responsible when it doesn’t.
